Moving north-westwards from the leafy and tranquil streets of Canonbury to the somewhat idiosyncratic neighbourhood of Kilburn was heart wrenching indeed. Exchanging our neighbourhood Deli for a corner shop and the local Pizzeria for a turkish kebab shop was somewhat challenging to say that least. However our reward came in the shape of a cosy yet exquisitely crafted flat that we are delighted to call our very own.
Having previously been owned by a couple who are architects by profession, the flat was in immaculate condition and required next to nothing in the way of refurbishment. This meant our loose change could readily be spent on furnishing the flat to our heart's content. With only a few final touches left in the way of searching for the perfect drinks trolley and a set of paintings to jazz up the bare walls, our flat is almost picture perfect.
I must say, that this does not deter me from scouring Pinterest and Ebay for more inspiration on a daily basis. Far from it in fact.
