Saint Laurent. Why not.

Well it is Christmas after all.

I have had my eye on a new bag for a while now - a classic and timeless number to commence a brand new year. Well they do say, start as you mean to go on. Although I am not normally one to splurge on a bag with a price tag more than adequate to feed a small family for several months, nothing on the high street seemed to fit the bill. Indeed, a Daunt's Bookshop cloth bag would have been preferable. Therefore in September I decided to bite the bullet and start saving for possibly the most expensive item (bar my own flat) I have bought. Ever.

I spent most of November toying between the Gucci Bamboo shopper leather tote recently seen on the arms of everyone and anyone, from the Editor of Harpers Bazaar to the effortlessly beautiful Rosie (super human) Huttington Whiteley and the Chloe Marcie medium tote that is firmly embedded in every fashionista's wardrobe. However this month whilst scouring the Selfridges website, I discovered this item of sheer perfection.

The Saint Laurent bowling bag in navy, buy yours at Selfridges now. Time is running out.
