London Eyed

Some girls go magp-eyed for diamonds, others only have a jimmy choo for shoes. Me? What makes me bright eyed and bushy tailed has less obvious permanence but in fact leaves me with a far more long lasting pleasure. It is what I have aptly coined the art of "time-outing" - otherwise know as the furious scouring of Time Out flimsy pages for new and exciting things to do in Lahndan.

Now don't be too skeptical. I for one am fully aware of Time Out's somewhat generic and commercial nature. In fact those bygone days where the magazine reigned as an unpenetrable force - reporting the opening of the latest and trendiest watering holes and eateries literally as the red ribbon was cut, are a distant memory. However for "fortunate" individuals like myself who's day job involves the limitations of seeing London from the bird's eye view of an office block, Time Out is literally Time Out (and some).

Call me a braggen but what begins with a casual perusal through Time Out ends with a social life en vogue, usually with the joy of all your friends (and the envy of all your fiends.)

Now having thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of my laborious internet searching and magazine flicking for more than a decade, I think it's about time to share with my fellow London dwellers and holidaymakers the sweet and succulent flavours of my findings.

So I give you "London-Eyed", s weekly update of London a la mode. What to see, do, eat, drink, book and wear.

Written for Londoners by a Londoner, born and bred.

Stay tuned for the debut.
