Weekend Edit - Cocktails and Comforts

I went | After an afternoon showing of The Imitation Game (worth a viewing btw), I went to sample some of London's most delectable cocktails at The Langham's finest bar, The Artesian. Artistic creations included a cocktail in the shape of a plant aquarium (see above). The service was impeccable and the ambience, extravagant minus the pomp.

I bought | our lovely new puppy, a red tartan coat (waterproof and fleece lined) from Chelsea Dogs. The quality of the coat is divine and at £12.99, it was an absolute bargain. I would definitely recommend Chelsea Dogs for all things dog related.

I ate | Living up to my self appointment status as "domestic goddess", I rustled up a sweet potato and chickpea curry. My version was slightly modified from the BBC Good Food recipe as I added mustard seeds and turmeric to the cumin seeds and oil mix, used 350ml of water instead of the recommended 500ml and threw in some spinach and coriander. PS. The bowl is an Oliver Bonas number.

I wore | my new Edge West Hamsa Hand necklace, which has been a permanent fixture around my neck since it's arrival last week, an old camel cashmere number and a pair of faux leather trousers from Zara.
