Teatime chez moi

I've got the Sunday evening "back to school" feeling and only tea and scones will do.

This recipe is a favourite of mine, not least because it is the shah family's own brand. Having only taken a mere ten minutes to prepare, I was soon salivating away as the melted chocolate aroma wafted out of the oven and meandered through the flat.

The scones are best served fresh out of the oven with a slither of melted butter washed down with a mug of Earl grey. I am not usually one to blow my own trumpet, or the trumpet of the recipe's founder Sita Simply Delicious. But, having spent yesterday afternoon sampling  The Delaunay's cream tea with gusto, it may be that the chocolate has got to my head but these scones are definitely more my cup of tea.
