With the weekend predicted to be sunshine all around, my friends and I thought there was no place that we'd rather be than the pebbly shores and sun glazed promenade of Brighton. So naturally, we took the 10.06am southern train bright and early on the Saturday morning and just 45 minutes later, London was only a mere memory away.
