Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of attending The Glamour of Italian Fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum. This exhibition features a glamorous study of Italian Fashion from the end of the Second World War to the present day, featuring tantalising creations by the leading fashion houses such as Valentino, Fendi, Pucci, Missoni and Giorgio Armani.
Something about easy elegance of the evening gowns and the sumptuous textures of the classic knitwear but after an hour of wide-eyed faces, variations on "ooooohs" and "aaaaaahs" and sneaky photo taking (call the V&A police), I suddenly felt the world was right again.
