Whilst in Summer I reach for the white tees, denim cut-offs and roomy dresses found all over the high street, in Winter I have no qualms about straying from budget and investing in more luxurious and durable fabrics. The likes of mohair, cashmere, alpaca and of course good old wool really know how to get the blood rushing through my veins.
The luxury knit is the ultimate winter staple, complimenting both a laid back look of skinny jeans + ankle boots and a dressy affair involving leather or lace. For me, there is nothing more pleasurable than the feeling of a soft, warm jumper on the skin - ideally coupled with a cup of hot cocoa in my hand and no other plans but a date with my duvet.
