Cherrypicking in December

The month of December is otherwise known as the month of giving and boy did I give - and receive.

They say that you can tell a lot about a person from their wardrobe and I believe the same is true for their favourites. For as is clearly visible from my December favourites, I spent the majority of this month a) staying warm b) comfort eating and c) hibernating indoors.

White Geranium Candle  | The White Company - This serene floral
scent made a refreshing change from the aroma of frankincenses, oranges and cinnamons heavily diffusing around the house this month.  It took all my willpower to save some of this soothing scent for the  more appropriate Spring months.

Farhi By Nicole Farhi Lambswool Roll Neck Jumper | Repertoire - As soon as I caught sight of the brown version of this divine number on  Toni of Fashion Your Seatbelts, I knew that I had to have the white one for myself. The combination of lambswool and cashmere creates a snuggly feel and the design pairs well with my standard skinny/tapered jean winter uniform.

M&Ms Mint Dark Chocolate | Tescos/American food stores - Its mint flavoured M&Ms - hello?!?

Creamy Avocado Eye Treatment | Kiehl's - Dark circles have been the bane of my life from the day I hit puberty. I have tried everything from homemade cucumber eye masks to La Prairie (of course it was a sample) to 16 hour cat naps and nothing seemed to live up to all expectations. Since buying this product a week ago, I have noticed a dramatic change, so much so that I have even left the house without eye make up (disbelieving GASP from the 26 year old me).

Violet Issue # 2 - Newsagents/online - This on the whim purchase  founded by Leith Clarke of Lulu Magazine turned out to be a real treat and accompanied me on several self-indulgent baths. I especially enjoyed reading the interviews with Alexa Chung and Kiera Knightly, which created a fly-on-the-wall insight into their lives.

Senso Mason 11 Ankle Boots | Asos - Because a girl can never have enough black ankle boots in her wardrobe.
