Food For Your Skin

With the Christmas foodbinge a distant memory, the health conscious amongst us will spend the majority of January inhaling multiple bags of kale and snorting packets of pumpkin seeds, with the primary purpose of glowing from within, like tinker bell on a smoothie diet.

Whilst admittedly I may be partial to a kale infused fruit smoothie or a sprinkling of seeds on my morning porridge, I find myself continuously on the hunt for tastebud friendly ways of creating that supermodel shine.

Therefore, after discovering Xochi Balfour of The Naturalista's bag of natural skincare products - an aptly selected Christmas present from my lovely sister - my first thought was how quickly I could exchange bag of kale for a cadbury creme egg or two.

Products top to bottom:-

Coffee and Cardamon body scrub

Coffee breaks down toxins and boots circulation, whilst cardamon uplifts body and mind

Oat and Honey face scrub

Milled oats slough away dead cells of winter skin, whilst raw honey cleanses and nourishes

Bay and Bergamot lip balm

Beeswax and olive oil moisturises cold winter lips, whilst bay and bergamot soothes and revitalises

Rosewater, Lavender and Camomile Skin and Hair spritz

Bulgarian rosewater tones and nourishes tired skin and hair, whilst lavender and camomile calms the mind

Rosehip and Jojoba face oil

Cold pressed rose hip oil boosts skin's healing and regeneration, whilst jojoba retains moisture and softness
