Stories Worth Shouting About

For those of you who are not familiar with the high street store & Other Stories, it is an incredible fashion brand founded by the H&M Group (the same people who own H&M, COS and Monki). The prices comfortably between H&M and COS, but hand on heart you can expect the same quality as COS. Personally, I find & Other Stories to be a trendier version of COS, as evidenced by the regular collaborations with up and coming designers.

On route to a friend's birthday celebrations and with the sole purpose of picking up a last minute gift for her, I made a beeline for the beauty and homeware section, trying my hardest not to get distracted by the rails of wooly jumpers and silk dresses. However, predictably I was led a stray by something new and sparkly in the form of this eye colour palette in Chatelaine Khaki. For me it's christmas in a box. I gave two of the colours a whirl at another friend's birthday at the Duck and Waffle today and I was not disappointed. The texture is matte but still so easy to apply with a simple eye brush and the colours are complimentary of all skin colours. I imagine that those with green eyes in particular could do it some serious justice.

p.s I ended up shamefully carrying a basket full of goodies to the till, including a chiffon day cream, velvety night cream and the this works deep sleep pillow spray (a long overdue purchase). I love the texture of the creams and the way they glide on but its too soon to comment on the long term. However the deep sleep pillow spray was  simply fantastic, so much so that my boyfriend had his first uninterrupted sleep since 2003. It would make a great gift for christmas.
